The lady with grey short hair and a white car claimed she was “late to work” and proceeded to almost run over a group of minorities. DO NOT support this business, this lady is racist and committed a hate crime due to her own personal beliefs. She proceeded to stay in her car for a couple minutes when she was screaming to “move” because she was “late”. This woman is definitely against minorities and doubt she would support any one who isn’t white.Service: Hairstyling

Colleen has been cutting and coloring my hair for almost 2 years. I have very thick, very curly hair and spent years not knowing what to do with it. I was worried about going short because I didn't want an afro and I was worried about coloring it because I kept it so long that it took forever to grow out. When I went to Colleen, I gave her free reign with my hair and we decided to take it short. She cut off at least 10 inches and did perfect layers so that my curls didn't poof into an afro. Since I've been going to Colleen she has also dyed my hair dark brown, added highlights, dyed my hair dark red, took me back to a strawberry blonde...I now get to play with my hair color and I now have a manageable cut! I definitely recommend going to Colleen!

I read the review above I scheduled an appointment with Colleen. After bumping around in a few different salons in Merced and not being happy, I think I finally have found a good fit. Colleen was terrific. It was easy to book an appointment. The Strand was easy to find and park. I have very curly hair Colleen whipped into shape by giving it a great cut and color. Colleen is smart, funny and experienced.
