A hidden gem! I was so impressed with the work that Menlo Atherton Re-weavers did in an alpaca wool blend coat that I brought in. They were able to repair holes and thinned out areas so that you could not even tell anything had ever happened to my coat! I was absolutely blown away! I highly recommend them. The price was extremely reasonable considering the quality of the work they do.
Exceptional work. These women are miracle workers. I've taken heirloom quality clothing, as well as contemporary pieces to them for almost 30 years. For example, my grandfather's Irish cable knit sweater with moth holes. They rewove the complex cable patterns, with exact matching yarn... the end result looked as if there had never been a hole. Their work is in high demand, so you might have to wait... but the wait is entirely worth it.
Amazing. I dropped off two Ralph Lauren Purple Label cashmere sweaters that had been chomped on. Very sad lol. The result? They look new. No visible sign of anything. Perfect. Thank you so much. Dropped off more items as a result. If you love clothes as much as I do and a moth has turned your garments in Swiss cheese, come here. Best in the Bay.
