I finally made an account just to give a 5-star review for Roshana. My hair was very long and flat after not getting a haircut for over a year due to COVID. I brought some photos for inspiration and she really adapted the cut to make it work for my hair. She checked in with me about the length of the front bangs a few times to make sure it was just how I wanted. She also styled it with waves since her next appointment was running late! I recently moved back to the Bay and my friend recommended her mother as my new stylist. I cannot recommend Linda at Expressions Salon enough! Linda has had 50 years' experience styling hair and knows exactly what she is doing. She was able to transform my fine, wavy, tangly hair that I've hated my entire life into something I'm proud to show off. Linda will take all of your preferences into consideration and magically give you the haircut of your dreams.

My review reflects only upon the two the stylist there at Expressions Salon on Oak Grove Ave in Menlo Park, CA whose behavior I feel negatively impacts the quality and professional image of the salon. I stopped coming to Expressions Salon recently due to the unprofessionalism and passive- impressive behavior exhibited by my primary stylist. To start her not being forthcoming in declaring her flatiron oven was broken when I complained my hair was not straight from the service. She was busted by another coworker who at my next visit mentioned in my presence her previous broken and the brand new oven that was currently at her station.
