A lovely little gem of a studio. The only disappointments are the lack of parking and no shower. I was fortunate to take class on a weekday at 9 AM so there was plenty of street meter parking. Even so, one has to be careful of the no parking signs for street cleaning and all the various rules. When I mentioned the of the parking to the front desk, she said yes the weekdays were easier. So I would definitely give yourself a healthy amount of time to find a parking spot, at least 15 minutes. I just happen to get lucky. Space is very tranquil. It's lovely and full of light and has really beautiful hardwood floors. There is one tiny bathroom with a sink with only cold water. No place to shower nor change. Bring your own mat or you can pay to rent one. All the props are generously loaned for free, including bolsters, blankets blocks and straps. The class was not too challenging. I didn't break a sweat. But perhaps there are other classes that are more intense. But it was a restful and centering class. TL/dr: perfect spot for locals to enjoy yoga.
Went to a great Yin Yoga class with an instructor called, Catie Really great session with a nice flow that had no dead spots. The instructor educated us on the roots of the movements and some yoga history...it was all welcomed Mats avail to rent for $5 (they take Venmo)
Been attending Catie's Wednesday night class for the last few weeks. It's a great work out and appreciate the classic, tune-in meditation in the begining of class, and love her her mantra serenades during shivasana. For someone who grew up with Hatha this is one of the few classes in the South Bay that truly feels like a more authentic yoga experience. The studio is a great option for guys, who run hot and don't like hot yoga, and lastly the aromatherapy is a really nice touch, place always smells great.
