The best salon in the South Bay! I’ve been seeing Michael for almost 10 years. I’ve followed him from salon to salon until he finally opened his own, because I love him SO MUCH, and no one does my hair like he does. There’s been times where I show him a picture, and he does exactly what i want. There’s also been times where I have no clue what I want to do, give him free reign, and it comes out gorgeous. He is amazing with blondes/brondes/balayage, and he knows exactly what I mean when I say I don’t want “yellow” or I want “ashy”. Mikell Coiffure is the best place for highlights in the South Bay and LA area!! I drive 40 minutes just to see Michael and his amazing team for full and partial highlights. The salon is a calm, beachy sanctuary with a view of the ocean just a few blocks away. Michael is the best -- he always understands and delivers exactly what you want and is efficient, professional, and just a fun vibe to be around. I can't imagine getting my hair done anywhere else!
The premiere spot in town for locals to maintain their beautiful hair! I visit every 6-8 weeks and every time I leave, I am feeling magnificently confident. They also take care of your makeup and brows! This is the place to go!
Stylist: Stefanie is the most beautiful and sweetest stylist. She has always has a smile and we have the best conversations. And she makes my hair look freaking amazing!
