I'm a 54 year old male. I found John E. through searches on social media and we got to discussing the latest (and now safer) version of the "Brazilian Blowout", a type of Keratin treatment. As an older male with three hair transplants, my hair on top has grown coarse and wiry, not like a young guy's hair. John did the Keratin treatment, and it was miraculous! The smooth, soft hair texture that I had been missing for years was back, and his technique of applying it in one direction, and then the other, kept my hair with some body and not just limp from the relaxing. He did a light cut that evened everything up. The effect was great, plus John is very nice and an excellent "host". I live in West Hollywood, but the trip downtown was really worth it to get this treatment and the great service, at what I thought were very fair prices. Highly recommend John's services!

I recently had an appointment with John of Salon on Main and am so glad to have been able to have John make me go blonde! Finding the right colorist is always such a struggle but John made everything very clear as he was going to the process and gave tips on how to keep my hair looking and feeling healthy. He also fixed my haircut because I guess my last hair stylist has been cutting a certain part in an awkward way but he was able to fix it the best he could. The 3 hours in the chair did not feel like 3 hours because John made me feel welcome at his salon and I got an awesome blonde outcome! Thanks! Totally would recommend.

I saw Danny on a Friday night for a blow-out and he did not disappoint! I have thick hair. (Hair stylists typically comment that I have enough hair for 3 heads) Danny still had me in and out in less than an hour. My hair wss clean, light and had the perfect amount of curl. I was able to take advantage for the next few days. He did a great job and I'm planning on seeing him for my next event!
