The doctors are good but the back office/administration is a nightmare of red tape and bureaucracy. YOU BARELY GET TO SEE THE MD THAT IS GOING TO DO THE ACTUAL SURGERY ON YOU. INSTEAD, YOU MOSTLY SEE AN OPTOMETRIST WHICH IS OUTRAGEOUS. I went to UCLA to see a top notch MD not an optometrist! Also, parking is a total hassle and expensive. I was afraid if anything went wrong so I went to a private practice instead. They were so unresponsive I am afraid to use them.

I had LASIK performed over 10 years ago (2011) at the UCLA Stein eye institute and to this day I am still 20/15. Anytime I visit a new optometrist I am told that the LASIK was done very well. Best decision of my life to trust the Stein institute with my vision.

I couldn't be happier with outcome of my cataract surgery. From the initial appointments for evaluations and measurements through the surgery for both eyes Doctor Hamilton was informative and reassuring. And skillful! Qualities that his entire staff possesses. I now enjoy clear vision and can read close up beyond my expectations.Thank you Doctor Hamilton!
