I had some difficulty, initially, in making an appointment. However the visit was very streamlined. Office staff were professional. The space itself is clean and comfortable. I was brought in to the exam room very quickly. Dr Shahabi was very knowledgable, down to earth and forthcoming. I felt very satisfied with the visit.

I called UCLA dermatology for the first time to schedule an appointment at the Redondo Beach office . I spoke to a lady named Cecilia and she was so nice and patient ! She took down all my new patient info asked if I had any questions - also told me about the patient portal . She explained everything so we'll to me and was very nice ! I appreciate people like that because it makes the doctors shes working with look good ! Thats what i call Team work ! I will defiantly recommend family and friends to that office !

I visited the Santa Monica location and the appointment was fast and straightforward. They did a good job of spacing out appointments and taking the necessary COVID-19 precautions. Though they had proper distancing and kept the waiting room door open, I waited outside in the hallway for my appointment with no issue. It was my first time having a body scan and having a preventative visit with a dermatologist. The doctor and staff explained everything clearly and concisely and also provided sunscreen samples as well. Avoid the $12 parking lot fee by finding two-hour street parking on Arizona between 17th/20th or the streets around it. UCLA Dermatology is very much recommended and I would recommend everyone include a dermatology visit as part of annual preventative exams.
