My dog recently had a grade 2 soft-tissue spindle cell sarcoma removed from his leg, and the histopathology report indicated that the marigns of the removed mass were not clean, meaning that Radiation was the next logical course of action. TrueCare for Pets was the closest facility to me, and boy am I happy that I gave them a call.
The facility is nice and clean, and full of kind and helpful people, and I never had a bad interaction with anyone there (staff *or* customers). I brought my cat in for emergency care. This place has a protocol where they take your animal back and you are not allowed to be present during evaluation and care. I do not agree with this protocol I think it is detrimental to the pet and extremely traumatizing for an animal that is already in a situation where they are scared. I suspected my cat had congestive heart failure. He was doing okay other than some heavy breathing. They came out and immediately took him back. I turned in the paperwork. They came out within 5 minutes and asked if they could give a sedative because he was attempting to bite people apparently. He was a very gentle cat I have never ever known...read full review
I took my 3 month old puppy to VCA in Glendale (NEVER AGAIN) they are the worst. Then i went to Laaser (ANOTHER HORRIBLE VET) found my way to True Care in Studio City. Dr. Louderback, Courtney and Christopher were angels sent from above. My puppy felt safe in their care and was very appreciative of the incredible service we received.
Not once did they misquote or try to recommend tests that my puppy did not need. They found the problem and treated it. They gave us meds and we were on our way. I spent less than an hour with this incredible team and can say that they are truly the best.
