In this day and age you really have to appreciate people who work with their hands. Tony has been repairing shoes and leather products for decades here in ELA. Very easy to miss his storefront on Atlantic Blvd since you can't park on the street but support him. He's been replacing my heels, dying my shoes, re-stitching on my boots, and cleaning my boots. He's a nice guy with old world decor in his place. Those stuffed animal heads have stories.
While getting things together for a party, I discovered the shoes I planned on wearing had no heels! I called this place to see if they could fix them before I left in three hours- he said he could do it while I waited!! It took less than 15-20 minutes. I am forever a customer.
My boots and high heel shoes needed replacement of the heel caps. I went to Tony's and got them taken care of quick! I went to run an errand and came back in 15 minutes and they were both ready. I know prices have gone up everywhere so I think $10 per pair was reasonable for the quick service I got. I've driven by this place for years and had never stopped. This is now my go to for shoe repair. He also duplicates keys so I'll be coming to him if I need key copies made.
