To Help Everyone - Western Health Center is a Federally Qualified Health Center and FTC Deemed Facility that has served the community for over 40 years. Patients praise the clinic for its friendly and helpful staff. They offer a wide range of services, including medical, dental, optometry, chiropractic, acupuncture, and chronic disease treatment. The clinic also provides health education, behavioral health services, food and nutrition counseling, and specialty referrals. To Help Everyone - Western Health Center is committed to providing care to everyone, regardless of their financial situation. They assist patients with low-cost medications, family planning, HIV/AIDS screening and treatment, and the AIDS Drug Assistance Program. The clinic offers services for women, men, children, teens, and seniors. While some patients have had positive experiences with specific doctors, others have reported issues with appointment cancellations and a lack of competence from certain providers.
My experience was with Dr. Brisinger (obgyn) and his staff. Dr. Brisinger and his staff are awesome.! He is retired from delivering babies (Ob). Only does Gyn. But the office staff when you go sign in first some of them have bad attitudes.

Just stopping by to celebrate another hard worker at THE on Western. I believe her name is Dr. Neff? I had to look at my paperwork because my general anxiety around Doctor office visits often prevents me from remembering things like names (which are usually said at the beginning of appointments when I am most anxious). Dr. Neff is awesome. Okay I'm gonna go check to make sure that's whom I saw. IT IS DR. NEFF!! Okay, I highly appreciate Dr. Neff's frank and straightforward approach to discussing birth control. She answered every single one of my questions and patiently waited while I flip flopped due to procedure anxiety. She didn't make me feel like I was wasting her time (I might have been, honestly), and she made sure that I walked away knowing that I am the only one who decides what should be happening with my body. Not only that, but she truly wanted me to know that I have options. She also seemed to have an encyclopedic knowledge of the benefits and risks of different forms of birth control. Dr. Neff has given me enough information (in one appointment) to make decisions about my birth control for the rest of my life. Also very easy to talk to. Which is an added bonus. And now I am unlikely to become pregnant, which is a huge relief. HUGE. I didn't even realize how much the possibility was weighing on me. I've never been so happy after a medical procedure. I have a different mission than raising kids. Trust me when I say that's a good thing for everyone. Lol. THANK YOU! If you start booking like crazy, Dr. Neff, please don't forget the girl who enjoyed discussing the efficiency of Japanese trains.
