TLDR: We always feel welcomed at VCC Pet Care. Front desk representatives are kind, warm and welcoming,the doctors actually listen, and Dr. Nishiyama and Dr.Sharp plus all their empanelled doctor teams and the other receptionists are why I keep coming back.
I bring my dog here because walking in already feels different. Nobody treats you like a ticket number. The front desk and receptionists are great. We have used this vet since moving to the LA area and we love it here. They've helped us when we were panicking about bloody stool for one dog, and general checkup and care for the other. They even had some great advice and helped us with training tips and with a prescription for our high-anxiety dog. They are always professional and friendly when we see them.
Edit: 5 years since the original post. Just following up to say we are still with them. Going on probably 7 years now. Still extremely happy and satisfied with the care they provide to our dogs.

Rachel Brownell is amazing. She is always honest about what she believes may be going on with your pet and understands that finances can sometimes be a concern. She truly does her best to provide the highest quality care while working within your budget whenever possible. She is thoughtful, understanding, compassionate, and genuinely cares about both her patients and their owners. Because of the trust and confidence I have in her, I made sure she became the primary veterinarian for all of my pets. I highly recommend her to anyone looking for a veterinarian who is knowledgeable, caring, and transparent.
