I don’t understand bad reviews here, I’m a huge fan of this place. They have really good tanning beds. It’s my first month being their client, I already did 5 sessions and I’m really happy to find this place. I purchased 3-month membership and I’m planning to continue being their client.
Well .. I signed up for this tanning spa yesterday was excited to finally find a spot locally . I purchased the entire package monthly and paid the prorated and feb payment up front When I was finished with my tanning the girl up front set my appointments for me for today .. When I checked my email the two emails read 1:00 pm and 1:30 pm. So I thought she changed my appointment or it was miscommunicated. The moment I came in up front a different person attending the salon said rudely I had already missed my appointment I said no here are my emails She didn't believe me and made me do a search on my emails which I felt violated having to show her my emails .. but I did at the sake to just get my services While I was in the infrared sauna she charged me 20 dollars .. so when I came out I asked her why did she do that when it wasn't even my fault the prior person didn't sent me confirmation that indeed was suppose to be a third email saying 12 pm as well . And then again came at me saying well it didn't charge it was declined and I said well if I don't know if a charge is coming I don't transfer funds over .. and what really got me fuming is she said are you going to have the funds on the first ??? I just paid yesterday 169 dollars for the 150 dollar a month VIP membership !!! What do you mean for end of Jan and prepaid the feb already ! I was so upset I didn't even want to stay for my infrared session took my tan and left She didn't feel bad at all for how she spoke to me and says I snapped ? I'm the customer and the way I was spoken to since I came in or about payment or about being charged for no show .. was not even my fault. She could've apologized and not head butt me every thing I responded she was challenging me .. so disrespectful to a customer .. really had me leaving upset when it's suppose to be my personal time to relax .. I wanted to speak to the owner but this is the last resort for me to get my point across that customers shouldn't be treated this way ..if a customer buys a vip membership treat them like one! .
I use to love coming to the tan spa when they were at their old location primarily because there was a parking ! I recently visited the new location and no doubt is really clean , the machines are new and I loved the vibe ! But with only meter parking around it's just a hit or miss ... I had to leave several times after finding no parking which really sucked and took time out of my busy schedule . I'm not really sure when is the best time to go and find parking because it's DTLA - it's always busy ... aside from no parking everything else is great for this business .
