Before I was in my current profession I was a Licensed Massage Therapist. and a cerified personal trainer. I'm very particular about my massages. My girlfriend showed interest in taking massage classes and I wasn't going to argue with her. I must admit that I'm glad she talked me into going. The most effective part of the instruction that truly impressed me was showing not just how to give massage strokes, but how the women can use their core and leg strength to give deeper pressure. My girlfriend was able to give me a deep massage and she never once complained about hurting her hands or a sore back. The teqniques that were taught helped her with proper body mechanics. Meagan was our instructor and she was patient and encouraging. She would continue to remind my girlfriend to drop her body weight down while delivering the massage strokes and it instandly delivered more pressure. Her coaching was spot on. We've since moved but were recently visiting San Diego and I took the opportunity to book us a private massage lesson in our hotel and it truly blows my mind how much better my girlfriend is at giving me a massage afterward the instruction. The one on one instruction from Monique was incredible and it was a unique and fun day date. If your in the area, it is a must do.
