I cut hair, and whenever I come home from a haircut, I always, always have to fix some details.

George was the first barber I've had where the cut was so impeccable I didn't have to change a single hair. He's talented, completely understood what I was looking for, structured my cut in a way that will grow well, and was able to squeeze me into a last minute cancelation before holiday travel. Plus, he's super personable and friendly! We had a great conversation, and he was easy to talk to. (He also offers a no-convo service - same prices, of course - for those who are more reserved and seeking that kind of experience.)

George is one of the best barbers ever. I discovered him when I came across his work on Instagram. Being a queer man I am always hesitant to shop for a new barber, since many barber shops can be heavy with toxic masculinity, but I was in need as I had just lost my old barber. I was pleasantly surprised when I took the dive. George was immediately warm and welcoming. I could talk about queer issues and queer topics with him without problem. His location is in the heart of DTLA, just across from the public library. Check him out for sure.

George is AMAZING. Super approachable. Super attentive. A cute little hidden studio right next to the famous DTLA library! The Starbucks is NOT open - so don't even try it, but I walk to his studio every time and I'm so thankful it's a cute spot! You truly feel like you're taking yourself away from the noise of your daily grind. Upon arrival, you are immediately taken to your seat and he begins! I have my cut - and I'm sure you do too, but the way he gets it and remembers it every time, is AWESOME! Thanks George! Can't wait for my next cut!
