Courtney is an absolute gem ♥️ I trust no one else but her to cut my hair. She has built such a wonderful community and she gives back to the El Sereno community as well. She also has the best music playing ✨ 1000/1000
I found Courtney via Yelp circa 2012 when I was a college student growing out an awkward accidental-half-shaved-head haircut. In the past 10+ years, she has become a great friend and the only person I trust with my haircuts. Her salon in El Sereno is absolutely gorgeous, she has excellent taste in everything from vintage furniture to the music she chooses to play, her values as a small biz owner and community member are A+. She's inclusive, curious, communicative, easy to talk to, thorough, and her haircuts grow out EXTREMELY well. I can get away with only a few cuts a year, so the value ends up being super high! So grateful to Courtney!!!! Love you <3
Courtney is the best, and I only trust her to cut my hair. I've been going to her for years. She is kind, professional, and fast (I do the fast dry cut), and I always walk away with a haircut I love. I also love the way she does booking. On the first of the month at 7 am, she releases appointments for that month, so just set the alarm and make sure you book within the hour cause they do fill up fast. If you go on the waiting list, you can often get an appointment. And the best part is if you miss that month, you can book the following month. I cannot recommend her enough!
