I had such a great experience at Sonamu! Everyone in the shop was super welcoming and friendly, which immediately made me feel comfortable. My tattoo artist, JP, was a really cool guy. He took his time, paid close attention to detail, and made sure I was comfortable throughout the whole process. The vibe was chill, professional, and fun at the same time. I came to Koreatown with $11 in my bank account, 😔 a broken heart, and a dream. I told Arvin I wanted something that says “make me look cool so that friends won’t make fun of me 🥺” — and this man understood the assignment immediately.
He tattooed a Naruto Curse Mark and somehow I left feeling like a new person. Do I have money for groceries? No. But do I get compliments from strangers every time I go to H Mart? Absolutely. Are my friends still making fun of me? Absolutely. 💀💀

I was looking for a tiny, cute tattoo and found Hazel at Sonamu studio through Instagram. I’m even more in love with it than I expected! The staff were all very friendly and Hazel was professional. I’ll definitely come back!
