Rose is the BEST! I’ve been going to her for over 10 years for regular pedicures and she is just the absolute best, beats any other pedicure I’ve ever had anywhere. How clean and smooth and nice my feet and toenails are afterwards is amazing. I wear flip flops daily and live in the country, so how she transforms my feet is seriously magic!
I had an event and was on a time crunch. I wasn't planning on getting a pedi because procrastination took over and ya girl got lazy. but I saw this nail shop while driving to my event and didn't have much time to spare so I quickly ran in and asked if it could be done in time because homegirl needed to go. Luckily it wasn't so busy so they were able to get started right away. Wendy sat me down and got started on my gel pedi immediately. She was so nice and understood the assignment. It's been two weeks and my mani still looks brand new. Everyone was really nice. I didn't let them know I'm Vietnamese and never once heard any of the salon ladies say anything rude. Will def come back when I'm in the area. Oh and there's a large parking structure. If there's no parking on the ground floor, make sure you pull underground ! I didn't spot the underground entrance at first and almost circled out if the lot.
I've been coming here for the past year every 2-3 weeks to get a gel pedicure+get my eyebrows waxed that's well over 800$ That I've spent here. At first I loved it so much. I always went in on sundays which is their busiest day. Everyone is always so nice. I decided to go on a Tuesday just bc I had a free day and I wanted to treat myself. The place was empty and the owner wasn't there. Everyone gave me a stank face when I walked in and my toe nail cuticles were cut way too short. I got weird looks from the 4 people there as if I had shown up on their lunch or something. I asked them if they wanted me to come back and they said no to just have a seat. I came the entire duration of my pregnancy and I would think these people would recognize me by now coming every 2-3 weeks. Sad how one bad experience can change the love you have for a place. I'll probably go once more postpartum and see if it's any different. If it's not I'd like some recommendations to a new nail place in the echo park area ):
