I have visited Robert Cauer twice now, and I am obsessed. I am a new violinist, and was looking for a place to purchase my first violin. I was intimidated by the idea of purchasing a violin, especially having no knowledge of how to purchase a violin. Going to Roberts store was the best experience possible. They were so kind and patient in guiding me through the process. At my appointment, Samantha (I believe that was her name, she said she played the cello) was so helpful and answered all my questions. Been coming here for about 15 years for my daughter since she was 5. When you see a blonde $10M Stradivarius cello in the waiting room to be repaired/serviced… you know you are in the right place. Can’t say much more.

Today my daughter's violin teacher suggested this shop so we came to pick out a full size violin. There are many beautiful violins and other instruments here and we got one we loved. Robert is very kind and gave a lot of tips on how to handle the violin well. It was our first time chising one violin out and he told use how to decide and pick. He is very professional and the same as the the other workers there. They were very welcoming as we saw them with oher customers as well.This is a great place to get your string instrument.
