It's not very often you think about having a go-to plumber until you're a homeowner and you realize you need a plumber available at all times! We had noticed for a while that an outdoor drain was overflowing every time it rained but we never thought much of it since it barely rains in Southern California, but then came the dreaded storm a few weeks back and I was concerned that the expected amount of rain and the clogged drain would ruin my pipes and overflow my backyard. The day before the storm I called up my trusted plumber and in between his other appointments he cane over cleaned out the drain and clean out and the day was saved. The fact that I could trust that (1) he'd pick up the phone and most importantly (2) show up made all the difference !
