About Parklane Cleaners
Parklane Cleaners has been a family-owned business serving the greater Los Angeles and LAX area for over 40 years. Known for friendly service, they specialize in getting clothes cleaned and pressed to customer satisfaction. During Covid, they continued to operate, helping keep their employees busy while providing an essential service that effectively removes bacteria and viruses from garments. Customers appreciate their ability to repair items, such as a vintage bikini top with a broken underwire, which was fully repaired and looks like new. They also handle alterations like hemming uniform pants with polite and helpful staff. The owner and staff are friendly, making every visit pleasant and offering above-expectation customer service. Items are returned fresh and ready on time, and the staff engages in nice conversations. Though a bit pricey, many consider Parklane Cleaners the best in town, with excellent service and long-term loyalty from satisfied customers.
I would like to give this place a better rating but the combination of delayed return on a stitch fix that took almost a week to get done when it was promised in three days - mind you one of the biggest signs they have outside. They’re building says “our Taylor is available Monday to Friday from 10:30 AM to 1:30 PM” - and the cost for the stitch fix were the two main factors for me giving it a three. Their pricing and the nice service person behind the counter is why they got a three. I would’ve actually given them a 3.7 . I’m still looking for a reasonably priced dry cleaner in the North Inglewood Kentwood area.
I had been searching for about a year and a half for someone to repair a broken underwire in a vintage bikini top I have. Every place I called or went to said they couldn’t do it, I stopped in here and they said they would see what they could do. I came back to pick it up and they had fully repaired it!! It was even torn and had some rust stains where the wire was broken and it now looks brand new, no tears or stains, and a brand new underwire!
I came to drop off my new uniform pants to be hem. The young lady was polite and assisted me with the measurements. When I came back to pick them up, she wished me good luck with my new job. They were great!
