Mark is about as real as they come. He took note of my area code when I called and greeted my as the "man from Connecticut" when I entered. We had spoken about my cut for a quick second on the phone and he'd already had all of instruments needed lined up and ready to go. Mark knows his stuff and is perfect if you're looking for a genuine, no-frills experience and some very real conversation. A refreshing change of pace from the many hollow smiles one finds in the city. I would absolutely return whenever in town!

I've been going to the Palace Barber Shop for years now, and I've always received a quality haircut. Marc is quick, quick, quick, and always with a story. I get in there like clockwork, and people at work always tell me I have such a professional haircut.

I can sorta understand the negative reviews, but I actually like this guy. He is on time in the morning (more than I can say for another nearby barber who on more than one occasion was over an hour and a half late) and is friendly. My cut is basic, so I can't speak to his fancy styling skills.
