Opyan's Hair Design is a charming salon in Los Feliz that feels like a local hangout. Customers enjoy a friendly and fun atmosphere where everyone connects. The staff provides excellent haircuts and highlights. The salon is family-owned and known for its reasonable prices, though it operates on a cash-only basis. The ambience of the salon feels like you’re in a fantasy realm with a relaxing and peaceful indoor water fountain. It is a pleasure to get hair colored, cut, and styled by the great hairstylists who are kind, patient, and thoughtful. They are quite the artists who provide high quality haircuts and take good care of their clients.
Jeff and Petros are not only great at their craft, but they are such kind and thoughtful people. The ambience of the salon feels like you’re in a fantasy realm, and as far as I know, the brothers designed the whole place. Jeff is quite the artist. Stylist: Great hairstylist at Opyan's
Petros took such good care of me!
It was my first time at the salon, and he really made me feel comfortable and listened to what kind of hair cut I had in mind - I was trying something different after a decade of the same hair style. I showed him a few inspiration photos, and he got to work. We chatted the whole time, while he was meticulously yet efficiently cutting away.
The end result was amazing! Such a high quality haircut in a fun and friendly atmosphere. I can’t wait to come back for a trim :)
PS: I recommend calling ahead for an appointment since they get busy, and bring cash.
