Mica Studios

Mica Studios is a beautiful, historic venue located in the industrial flats of Boyle Heights, next to the Arts District of Los Angeles. Housed in a 1926 neoclassical building, the space has a rich legacy, from serving as a storage facility for Liberace's pianos to featuring in iconic projects like The Crow 2 and Beyoncé’s 'Crazy In Love' music video. Today, it offers a unique setting for productions and events, blending historical charm with modern amenities.

The venue is an incredible, open space, perfect for any creative project. The layout is spacious and well-designed, with a huge, bright main level, an upper level loft, and a bonus lower level. It has great indoor/outdoor flow, easy for food trucks and support services, plus plenty of private parking and an easy loading dock. Studio managers are professional, flexible, and knowledgeable, going above and beyond to keep everything running smoothly. While one attendee noted it could get really hot, the space is clean, full of character, and highly recommended for shoots, events, and gallery openings.
