I don't normally go out of my way to post reviews, but this place was amazing. Great good and great prices. I first went here a few months ago and got the carne asada con chorizo plate which was spectacular. The meat was perfectly seasoned. The rice was fluffy and flavorful and the beans were perfect. Today I decided to try the pupusas (currently only $2.75 a piece) which is a F***ing deal. THEY WERE INCREDIBLE. I went with the revuelta pupusas, but I have a feeling you can't go wrong with any of them. I couldn't recommend them higher. Just a heads up if you don't speak Spanish there will be a language barrier here.

So good! Big yummy pupusas, and plantains. I found this place after devino Salvador closed in highland park. The parking situation can be though. Street parking. Meh. The staff is nice. The place itself is small. But you can always take the food to go!

I came here for the Papusas--they were incredible! I tried the queso y loroco, queso y chicharron, and queso y frijoles. All of them were excellent but the chicarron was my favorite. I also appreciated that they were all priced reasonably at $3 each and were ready in less than 15 min. The cabbage was fresh, sauce was flavorful, and nothing was greasy, which was a delight. Will definitely come back!
