I've been getting my hair done by Kate for a while now. She is incredible...super talented, brilliantly skilled at her craft. I'll usually get somewhat choppy bangs of varying lengths, depending on my mood, and layers.

I'm taking the time to update my review of this business (and Kate Schlichter's work specifically) because I know how much I rely on helpful details in Yelp reviews. Kate Schlichter (owner of Lost Hills salon) is an incredibly talented hair cutter and educator (attended the Vidal Sassoon Academy in London, trained and taught at Bumble and Bumble in NYC etc etc). Kate is thoughtful, patient, kind, super communicative and receptive. She does not own or use thinning shears in her work. A haircut appointment with Kate includes hair wash, blow dry and styling. 10/10! I had my first haircut by Lex today, and I am so ecstatic! My hair was so heavy and unflattering before. I showed her some photos of what I was going for and what I wanted to avoid. Came out exactly like what I wanted.
