Second time going and I’m glad i went back. Very friendly and very helpful. I went in feeling very stressed and definitely felt better after my acupuncture treatment. I also did cupping!
They have a lot in the back of the building which is convenient especially because it’s in a busy area
100% recommend Laffa Acu-Clinic for acupuncture, wet cupping, dry cupping, moxibustion and other services. I've had very positive experiences here based on the services I received. Dr. Sophia and Joyce are very knowledgeable and great at what they do. What's great is that they are accurate. That means they demonstrate keen expertise on the exact placement of the acupuncture needles. If you've had mediocre or even a bad experience with acupuncture it could be because the needles weren't placed accurately, so you didn't get the results you were looking for. For those of you new to acupuncture it's a great alternative to western medicine. I'll still visit my medical doctor, but the acupuncture helps me to see my medical doctor less because of the healing and preventative measures of acupuncture. It has done wonders for me. When people ask me about acupuncture, I usually explain it in the following way. Picture your body internally like a railroad track system with several trains that stop at each station. When a train gets stuck at a station none of the other trains can pass nor use the railway freely. Now think of each train station as the acupuncture pressure point and the needle placement is used to get the train moving again by relieving any blockages and thereby allowing that train and the ones behind it flow freely throughout the railway. This is my simple explanation of the Chinese practice but it may help someone to understand at a high level. At Laffa Acu-Clinic they speak English, Spanish and Korean and take medical insurance. If you have a health issue or just want to take some preventative measures, it would be worth a visit to Laffa Acu-Clinic.
I've been to four different acupuncture clinics searching for the right "connection." My search is over and hopefully this is a lasting health partnership. Joyce was very calming and kind with how she explained my treatment. She listened to me and addressed my lumbar pain that I've had for over 20 years. The office is very clean and professional. The staff is very attentive and always making sure my needs were met. There's plenty of parking behind the building. It was my first visit and it's very important to me that first impression is a lasting impression. I'm going back on a follow up visit to continue my back treatment and also address my shoulder pain. Thank you Joyce and Dr. Rhee!
