Amazing experience with Dr. Makhani. He knows what he’s doing. He really saved me and had me go to emergency for surgery. I had gone to 4 other places and they were all giving me the run around. I have been in pain since April and it was getting worse by the day. My surgery is scheduled for today and after months of pain I’m finally going to feel relief. I will definitely recommend all my friends and family to him. Truly blessed my friend referred me to Dr Marc Makhani. Thank you Dr for all your help!!! 🥰🥰
Dr. Marc D.Makhani welcomed me to Southern California and his practice exuding warmth and heart. While garnering recent episodic information of what brought me to his practice, he listened intently as details unfolded. He explained he could not solve my issue in this first seating and said his approach is one step at a time. He issued an eating plan and ordered a preliminary test, which would help to identify certain markers in my lower GI track. Similarly, I posed additional questions after my initial visit to his staff followed by a phone call from Dr. Makhani. I feel well served and pleased to write this review.
I left a review a few years ago, but I don’t see it now. So here goes.
A little over 2 years ago I moved to Orange County. I tried several GI specialists here. All of them said to take OTC Prevacid (or something similar). I am at least 10 years post gastric bypass surgery (a true nightmare) and if OTC meds were the answer I would not have contacted a specialist.
I decided to call my GI doctor in LA with the hope that he would refer me to someone here or see me there. (If I had to drive to LA I would for relief). My symptoms are/were acid reflux, nausea, opiate induced constipation (several spine surgeries), and everything that goes with those symptoms.
