This backpiece was my first tattoo, and AJ did a phenomenal job, not just on the tattoo, but helping me through the process over the past year. I'm loving it, can't wait until it's fully healed. I'm going to go back for sleeves once I pick the subjects, looking forward to it!

I'm happy to be another voice in the perfect reviews of this place because they deserve it wholeheartedly. I got my first tattoo in 15 years from AJ a couple of days ago and it was a cover up to boot. AJ created a gorgeous design based on photos I sent and went to work, taking care to not only add amazing detail and go over areas as needed, but check in with me to make sure I was okay. I am literally the wimpiest person in the world, but I was able to get through this 4+ hour session because of how comfortable AJ made things for me. After being terrified for 15 years, I finally worked up the courage to get my first tattoo. I found Kurikara Tattoo through extensive research and viewing different artists' portfolios.
