I loved the first haircut I got from him. Perfect tapered cut. Went back and he butchered my hair. It was way too short. I think he may have been tipsy cuz he poured himself some wine while doing my hair.

Best haircut I've ever gotten in my life!! Went to CA on a business trip in May, now it is November and I still enjoy my hair and can still see and feel the difference. Having curly/mixed hair, you really need to know what you are doing to do a great haircut. (Not like the lady who spent 2 hours blow-straightening my hair before cutting it: HATED IT). I wish I could go back to SF to get my hair cut again... MARTY WAS THE BEST!!

It is truly a blessing that I was able to find Keenan in LA at a time when I needed my hair saved. After searching in all the wrong places for someone to cut my 4C/Afro textured hair (yes I have been through the $300 Devacut nonsense), I FINALLY came across him. He knows a lot about natural black hair, and was very thorough during my visit. I came to him with extreme damage/breakage. I believe it was from using Devacurl products over the last year, and I had extreme shedding and dryness like I never had before. I was in need of a complete chop. I showed him references of what I wanted, and he gave me a tapered cut, which I love! I realized I had never had an actual hair style, and I kind of just wore it out and curly. Keenan walked me through his entire wash/condition/styling process, letting me feel some of the products he was putting into my hair that thoroughly nourished my strands. He gave me recommendations on what to continue using to rebuild the moisture in my hair. He also told me about my hair's porosity and what would work best in it. I truly look forward to seeing Keenan again for my cuts/styles. He literally saved/is saving my curls!!!
