Took my younger cousin to get his haircut by an actual barber and lemme tell you... he's never looked/felt so cute in his life. Such a safe and welcoming atmosphere I can't wait to take him back!

I wish I would've found this place sooner! I had a hard time finding a barber to give my son his first haircut so I settled on the barber that my brother goes to. My son cried the first time and almost every time we went. My sister suggested that I see Davon since her son goes there. Davon cuts my nephew's hair with stylish lines and swoops where his hair fades. All the kids at his school always compliments him on his fresh cuts. I have a 3 year old son and I like his hair cut low all around. My previous barber always left it a little patchy and wouldn't trim well near the top and behind my son's ears. Davon always cuts my sons hair evenly and the way he cuts it makes his hair lay down and not stick up all fuzzy. His shop is clean and he sanitizes his clippers in between clients. He's great with children. My son has never cried here and he asks to come back for his haircuts before it's time. I really didn't realize that there's a huge disparity when it comes to barbering skills. I thought haircuts were haircuts but now I know better. I've also noticed that he's great cutting men's hair and trimming beards. I like that there's no hanging out, profanity laced conversations, or super loud music playing. The radio and tv are usually on and the atmosphere is pretty cool. There is another shop on the block. Davon is located right next to the traffic light on 79th.
