I haven't been there personally, but I have seen the work that is being done on black and african american women's hair. I was there to visit a friend who has a shop inside (Cojoton Health & Beauty Bar). He does eyelashes, eyebrows, and make-up. And other health and hair growth products at a reasonable price.

I haven't been to a salon in two years. I recently relocated and I was searching for a stylist. Marla did my hair and the results were amazing. She emits a calming vibe and I felt comfortable and relaxed. She moved at a great pace but did rush the process. She did a silk press and my ends were trimmed. I highly recommend MARLA and her number is 1(310)658-2952. If you call the salon's main number, be sure to ask for her.
