I came here and tried the 60 minute massage, Korean body scrub, and table shower. Quite a different experience than I'm used to. I'll go over the entire experience, the pros and cons and why this isn't a 3 or 5 star rating. After the massage my body feels wonderful, but there are somethings that could have made this a 5 star experience for me or a 2 or 3 for someone else. When I arrived I was escorted to a room, asked to undress, lay on the table, cover with sheet and wait for massage therapist. The room had a large mirror on the wall facing the bed and rather bright. The table was covered with towels that seem to be recently dried because the were hot. I began to sweat before the therapist arrived. The hole in the table that you put your face in was surrounded by small towels and some form of face pillow that obstructed by breathing throughout the massage. The massage technique was wonderful. I'm built like a stallion around 220 lbs of pure muscle and can appreciate pressure applied from elbows and walking that really stretched the muscle, pulled the tendons with the perfect amount of pressure and worked the space between my spinal discs. I ordered a combo massage and expected a 50/50 between deep tissue and Swedish. I prefer the more relaxing smooth strokes after some punishment but the massage was mainly just deep tissue. A real downside was that the sheet covered my body 90% of the time. I believe the biggest healing component of a massage is the human skin to skin touch. I always like to envision my tension and stress being released from my body into the masseuses healing hands. A transfer of energy. With the sheet the energy felt trapped and kinda defeats the purpose of getting undressed and the massage over the sheet seems more like a clothed massage. I'm covered in tattoos from the neck to legs and wondered if she was maybe offended by what she saw. IDK. Once my back massage was finished, I was not asked to turn over. The massage was halfway done in my eyes but finished. The masseuse was wonderful, friendly and quite the healer. It's a shame that the sheet remained over my entire body so long and only my posterior body was massaged. If dine different, this would easily be a 5 star experience. After 45 minutes of massage, I was given a towel and shower shoes then asked to follow her to another room for scrub and table shower. (This is not for the shy person) The room is tiled with a shower bed in the middle and to the side a bucket is being filled with warm water. I removed the towel and lay face down on the table. I'm completely comfortable in the nude - I know that to them, I'm just another one of the thousands of bodies that come in to get treatment. During the table shower you are given a covering for your intimate parts. Warm water is poured over your body before you are hand washed like a baby and then given a deep Korean sugar type scrub. Absolutely amazing. BTW completely professional . Slight massage techniques are used during soap application and the scrub is done with textured gloved and quite vigorously. Here you are flipped over onto your back and then washed and scrubbed again. With a final rinse you are done and then towel dried like a King. My skin felt soft, clean and smelled good. Not bad at all for $80 Parking is in rear and street parking is nearly impossible to find.

Came here for the couples retreat and very glad I did. Reasonable price and lovely feel. Would have given 4 starts but my masseuse was extremely rough when I asked for a basic massage. There was a nice relaxation room with refreshments after the massage. It was really nice. Will go back in the future.

Ummmm lol. The woman that runs the front desk did my massage and body scrub. Let's just say it was an interesting experience. There didn't seem to be any other staff working that day. She kept having to stop in the middle of my massage to tell new customers to come back in an hour. Wow!
