Tina was recommended to me (in the salon behind 99) by a friend. I had to get my previous nail tech to explain things to her. Evidently they don’t even have hard gel there (used instead of acrylics). She started drilling off the gel polish with no empathy or care whatsoever. In my 40 years of having my nails done, she hurt me more than anyone else—ever. I kept involuntarily jumping from the pain & she yelled at me and gave me dirty looks “I can’t do it if you scare!” I wasn’t scared, she was drilling deeply with me care at all. Hi. I'm not a long nail or gel nails kind of gal. I just get basic mani-pedi treatments. Nina is my favorite. I make an appointment and arrive on time and she's usually ready to go. Some other salons in my area don't seem to understand what an appointment is and I've waited upon my arrival. It isn't that hard to honor my appointment. Nina does a great job. It is a small salon tucked in to a strip mall on the very north end of Westchester which is convenient for me. There are so many salons but this one is working out well for me. The pedicure is in nice massage chairs too. I like my old school French tip design pictures in my photo here.
I'm not sure why this place gets such bad reviews. I used to go here years ago and only stopped because I moved far. Their prices here are excellent. I spent half the amount here that I did at another local nail salon. Their customer service was fine. It's not a fancy spot but it gets the job done and for a good price. My nails came out really nice.
