OH MY GOD. THESE WOMEN WERE LIFESAVERS! I called 2 days before I needed my dress fixed. It was way too small, and I had tried to fix it myself… I was at a bachlorette party the entire day before I needed it, so I wasn’t even able to be remeasured by them and they had to go by my verbal instructions over the phone and safety pins i had placed…. They got it done by opening the next day, and due to a communication error there was still alterations to be made, but they still accommodated me so graciously and had it ready 3 hours and it was so much better. Prices were incredibly reasonable and the day was saved.

Laida has transformed my relationship to my wardrobe with her technically skilled alterations and INCREDIBLE prices! I lost weight this year thanks to an intensive yoga practice (brag) and brought some of my favorite pants in for tailoring. I soon discovered the many ways I could make old pieces that I no longer wear as much part of my current rotation with some smart alterations. The store is so sweet, and I love the shop dog Moon. AAPI Woman Owned Small Business! We’ve been going here for years! Reasonable prices with fast turn around for those urgent requests! They also specialize in traditional filipino but also does general alteration so if you’re traveling the high seas in a Sky Suite or attending a traditional ethnic wedding, FdM is def the go to!
