I cannot say enough great things about Dr. Kashani. I originally started seeing her because I have on and off neck pain and acupuncture is the only thing that helps but she has helped me on the functional medicine front, with fertility and generally feeling good. She's an empath and a healer!
I am a "try anything and everything" kind of person when it comes to medicine and healthcare. I couldn't be more grateful to have found Dr. kashani when I decided to try acupuncture and functional medicine for joint pain, sleep, and gut issues about 8 months ago. In my first visit she sat with me for over an hour seeking to understanding all of the things I needed to address and ensuring me we'd find a regimen to heal my health issues at their root. 8 months later and I can eat foods that I haven't been able to eat comfortably for 7 years and I feel so much more in tune and in control of what's going on with my body day to day. The men in long coats and short coats, with sleeves rolled up to seem casual or buttoned tight to seem official, gray with age or salt and pepper prime, had come to a unanimous conclusion: I should not be in pain. "You're young" one said, "it doesn't make sense." Another, eyes fixed on my chart, offhandedly suggested "a simple surgery...to remove the bursa." It would likely lead to future problems, but why should I worry about those when they were so far down the line.
