Costa Del Sol Healthcare is a 99-bed, Medicare- and Medicaid-certified skilled nursing and rehabilitation facility located in Los Angeles, CA, offering short-term rehab and long-term care in a warm, home-like setting. The facility aims to provide compassionate, individualized care that promotes healing, independence, and quality of life. The experienced rehabilitation team offers physical, occupational, and speech therapy to help residents regain strength, mobility, and function following surgery, illness, or injury. Skilled nursing services are available 24/7 and include IV therapy, wound care, dementia care, catheter and colostomy support, enteral feeding, diabetes and pain management, restorative nursing, and both hospice and respite care. Reviewers have praised the friendly and attentive staff, the clean facility, and the excellent care provided to patients. However, some concerns were raised about the difficulty in finding parking and the need for improved nutrition for certain residents.
Staff at Costa del Sol have been friendly and attentive with my uncle. He has lost a lot of weight due to malnutrition and has been losing muscle due to his puréed vegetarian diet. They say it is his poor oral intake, but he eats all of what they provide when I feed him and he eats the food I bring. Perhaps they could be feeding him more.
I thank The staff for their commitment to care for the patient/residence. Also and highly impressed with how interventions are done with my mom. I must say from a clinical perspective the nurses are excellent in informing me about my mother. Administrative staff has been most helpful in helping me come up with ideas and ways to help my mother take her medication and be more proactive in her own care. I do feel safe living my mother at this residence. So I would refer to other people in need of housing their parents for care.
The facility was clean.
The staff was very friendly.
The patients were taken care well.
But the parking was hard to find a spot.
Overall was great.
