We have had a couple different trainers for our terrier mix and haven’t been able to control his reactivity. We did the 4 week board and train and it has made all the difference. We are very grateful for Jamie, Brent, and Canis! Jamie is an absolutely amazing trainer and has given us significant peace of mind now when stepping out the door with our pup, and our pup gets so excited to see Jamie!
I am so grateful to everyone at CANIS. I can't say enough. Daisy came to us temporarily as she was about to be dropped off at a Shelter. I spend one week with her and I just adored her but she is a lot of DOG! I was advised that she was too big, too strong and too reactive... but I was determined. I found CANIS on the internet, Jaime took my call immediately and the same day I met with them for an evaluation. Two weeks later, she went to "Camp" Board and train where Jaime worked with her daily -- the whole team helped and everyone showed Daisy that she truly did have a chance! We still work with her everyday and we have privates with Jaime. Next month we start with Group training. CANIS has so much to offer - but most importantly the love they share with our pets - I can't express my gratitude enough! Thanks Jaime, Jenn, Hunter, Bobby, and everyone else that supported me and my new best friend!
I’ve been bringing my dog, Peppa, to Canis for almost a year now, and it is absolutely my favorite place to take her for day club. I love that their program goes beyond traditional daycare and provides a structured day that includes playtime, agility training, and rest. Peppa always comes home looking like she’s had the most amazing day. I truly appreciate the clear and consistent communication from the team—they always make me feel informed and like part of the Canis family. I know many of the staff by name and have developed great rapport with each of them, which says so much about the care and community they create. We also participated in the board-and-train program, and our trainer, Jamie, is absolutely the best. She did an incredible job honing Peppa’s obedience skills and, just as importantly, taught us how to maintain her training at home. Even months later, Jamie still checks in to see how Peppa is doing and makes sure we feel confident as handlers. She is always a resource and consistently goes above and beyond. I couldn’t recommend Canis enough.
