I didn't want to do a review right away so I waited a couple of weeks to see how they hold up before I post an honest review. (Caveat: I am utilizing this place as an im between lash place while my lash tech is on medical leave so I'm comparing experiences). Booking the appointment was easy, you can book via app and tip: if it's your first install you get a discount! You do have to put a card on file in case you're a no-show they charge you. When I arrived, I had to sign waivers and remove my contacts. I've been getting my lashes professionally installed and I never had to remove my contacts so this was a first. The disclaimers of pink eye, irritation, etc kind of frightened me, I never had to sign a waiver so o was a little paranoid the disclaimer was from past complaints. Fast forward to the install: the tape was a bit abrasive and not the gel pad adhesive tape I'm use to from my previous lash tech, and the glue was not the same either. This glue could have potentially turned my eye red from the fumes or the type of lashes. The lashes were a bit thicker and heavier than the faux mink I normally get. There was some unprofessional conversations happening between my tech and her staff that I would have preferred to not listen in on. If you're used to a private room, then this isn't the place for you because this establishment has 3 chairs ones up spaced apart on the same floor with no privacy curtains or dividers. The lashes looked great but started to fall out a lot more than expected. I followed instructions but I was losing a lot of lashes. I like to support black owned businesses so I have it a shot for the experience but Due to the lashes falling out and the red eye for two days, I may or may not return.

Destiny has done my lashes since last month & I’m in love with them every single time. I don’t have a lot of shedding at all. They LAST!!! The salon has a very cool vibe & I nap during each service lol. The pricing is very good & they also have great customer rewards programs. Bawse Lashes is the ONLY place I’ll get my lashes done in LA!!!Services: Body waxing
