I called Fidelity National Home Warranty when my pool pump stopped working. I asked them which companies they use for pool repair, and they gave me the names of three companies. As part of my due diligence, I called all three companies, and by far the most helpful and responsive was Laura at Crystal Clear. She knew everything, and I mean EVERYTHING about my pool pump, stayed on the phone with me for over 30 minutes, and was a huge help. Unfortunately, when I went to make the actual claim for the repair, I learned that my home is outside Crystal Clear's repair area, and Fidelity assigned me to a different company. However, I now feel so much better equipped to deal with this issue when the repair people come out. And even though she is not being assigned the job, Laura told me to feel free to call her with any questions or issues! Thank you Laura for having a true customer service mindset!!!

We had 6 months of recurring algae problems in the pool and we were very patient with Crystal Clear during this time because our technician had a serious family health issue. However, when we asked the owner to step in to help get the pool in swimmable condition for our 4-year olds birthday party, he came every day to try to solve the problem -- but he was frustrated, angry and refused to tell us what problems he was finding and how he was solving them. It was such a poor way to be treated from someone who we stuck by for such a long time.

AVOID THIS BUSINESS AT ALL COSTS! I am absolutely horrified at Terrell and this company. We were referred to them by a Jandy employee that they work on this pool system in Los Angeles. We reached them to fix an auto-fill issue. They came out, and without notifying us before hand, cut in to the pipe and replaced a section. The auto-fill began working again and we didn't inspect the work closely. The pipe they added was very poorly attached with a mess of what looks like putty. Then several weeks later I actually look at the system and see what was done and see that the system has a leak that was never there before. The leak is coming from where the pipe was added by this company. I reach out and request they fix. He comes out and before he begins we request to inspect his work before he leaves. At this point he starts getting very sassy. He said he would only be 5 to 10 minutes anyways and was very rude about it. We waited outside for him to finish and he came back and said that the pipe is warped and would need to be replaced and that he was leaving and would come back in a week or 2 to finish. We asked to see the work he did and he became very defensive. He told us to seek a second opinion or hire a plumber. When I asked for what?, he took us to the system and showed us that he'd FURTHER cut into the plumbing without discussing with us before hand and said he can't fix this today. He said it would cost additional to fix. We said that we had an auto fill issue, not a leak before he ever touched our system, so we shouldn't have to pay additional and he said it would be $100 more. We said fine, we shouldn't have to pay, but that it wasn't worth the fight and then he just walked out, got in his car, advised he would send us something in writing and that he wouldn't be back. HE LEFT THE SYSTEM IN PIECES! What was an auto fill issue, then a leak issue, was now a pipes in pieces and pool system catastrophe problem and he just drove away while being petulant. This company is incredibly unprofessional.
