“Writing this on behalf of my wife who has been getting botox and fillers from Illumination plastic surgery in palo alto for several years. The results were always mixed and when I read up on Dr House i encouraged her to give his office a try. I cannot tell you how big of a difference the results have been this time around. Usually my wife comes home looking like she got in a fight with mike tyson and the results were always sub par. On multiple occasions she would have to go back for touch ups. Dr House is clearly a perfectionist and has deep knowledge, not to mention the eye for aesthetics. My wife's results are phenomenal. “I'm currently getting my tattoos removed and this is by far the BEST laser removal i've ever been to ( I moved from Georgia to California and holy the experience here is SOOO different, IN A GREAT WAY)The staff are all extremely friendly and they took good care of me during the laser removal procedure ( helped me ice the areas, talking to me making sure if I'm okay, they do a tapping thing to help ease the pain and it works! no other removal place has taken this good care of me) I can go on and on about how much I love this place. “I was referred to Lucy for injections by my best friend and let me tell you, she does not disappoint! I recognize that my aesthetic requests can be uncomfortable sometimes for injectors because I don't want the "typical" look. I like my eyebrows as high as I can get them (think Morticia Addams) and my forehead frozen, I appreciate pillowy lips with an apparent shape, and want a sleek jaw with zero lines around my mouth. Lucy listened to all my requests and took me from looking tired and sunken, to full and beautiful. Lucy is such a professional and narrates everything she's doing while she's doing it. She explains her reasoning behind the technique she uses and gives instructions for after your appointment to maintain longevity. She also provides wonderful pre-care (numbing and distraction) and awesome aftercare service and advice (a little arnica and facial massage on the injection areas). She also recommended skincare products to help with my skin concerns surrounding acne and hyperpigmentation. And I can't forget to mention that she is an absolute sweetheart. She put me totally at ease during the consultation and during every visit I have with her. She's like an old friend you get to catch up with while you're getting the treatment of your dreams. She's got a very busy schedule, but if you can book with her, I promise you won't regret it! I can't wait to see her again for my next appointment in January.Another plus is that all of the staff at AwakenMD are so kind and helpful. The front desk is prompt and friendly. “I was looking into getting LASIK eye surgery back in November 2019. I have been wearing glasses since elementary school until now. I went on Yelp to look at different locations where they offered LASIK surgery. IQ Laser Vision was highly recommended and had great reviews so I made a consultation appointment at their San Marino office. It was a great experience with every staff member welcoming me and thoroughly explaining all the tests that were being conducted. I met with Melissa Chao and she explained all the expenses and the process of the procedure. She noticed I was hesitant because it was the first LASIK office I visited; however, she was never pushy during the whole visit. She scheduled me an appointment just in case I wanted to proceed with them for my surgery. I went to another office a week or so later and the experience was completely different. The lady on staff was super pushy about choosing them and there were a lot of hidden fees that were not initially mentioned. I contacted Melissa Chao right away and let her know that I wanted to continue with IQ Laser Vision. My surgery was in November 2020. On the day of the surgery the entire staff was really nice and patient. I had my surgery with Dr. Liu and she had a one on one with me in her office minutes before the surgery. She let me know every step of the procedure. Dr. Liu let me know any discomforts, sounds, and smells I would experience during the surgery. The procedure was done within a couple of minutes. I did feel slight discomfort for the rest of the day but no pain. All of my post-op visits have gone smoothly. I would highly recommend them for their fantastic service and professionalism.“

“This was my first time at Total Glow and my first facial ever and it was such a great experience!The staff were incredibly friendly and prompt. You receive a skin consultation right at the beginning that tells you how your skin is doing and the healing starts from there. I have dry skin so that was my big concern.My aesthetician was Sayaka and she was so professional and caring! She walked me though every facial procedure she was doing to keep me informed and made sure I was comfortable the during the process. The cleaning felt really soothing, and didn’t hurt at all. She did apply a cleaner that stung for 30 seconds but it went away fast.This felt like a spa! The soft music and aromas made it feel like you were away on an island.After the treatment, Sayaka explained how to take care of my skin properly, steps to take each day, and recommended products that will help keep my skin young and hydrated. I highly recommend coming in to get a treatment or a gift to a friend/family. Be sure to request Sayaka, she was amazing!10/10“

“Dr Roy, hands down, is the best at what he does.  I trust him whole heartedly and wouldn’t let anyone else touch my face. He genuinely cares about his patients and how they are feeling.  I had concerns during my post op healing.  I sent Dr. Roy a text.  He responded later that day and put my mind at ease.  I later learned he was on vacation with his family when I had texted him.  Dr. Roy could have waited to reply or passed me off to one of his great assistants, but he took time away from his family to reply himself.  I had procedures done in September 2023.  I really didn’t experience much pain because Dr. Roy and his assistants know what they’re doing and have steps in place to minimize the pain.  But, if I’m being honest, I took longer than most to heal. I didn’t have the results that I had hoped for at 30 days post op and not even at 3 months.  I wore glasses to hide my results and I was beginning to second guess my decision to have surgery.  I was so disappointed that I didn’t look like all those before and after pictures that he posts on social media.  All the while, through my negativity and disappointment, Dr. Roy put up with me. I even started to cry in his office at one of my checkups. He was just so supportive and he kept assuring me that I needed to be patient and that he wasn’t going anywhere.  He wanted me to be happy.   I wish I could go back to tell myself to be patient and not waste so much energy on worrying so much.  I’m happy to say, I’m at exactly 5 months and a week post op and my results are amazing!  I don’t look tired anymore.  My muscles are still healing, but I’m excited.  The best part is that no one outside of my immediate circle has any clue that I had anything done.   I look like me, but a younger version of me.   Would I do it again and entrust Dr. Roy?  In a heartbeat, absolutely 100%!“
