I used to go to Dr. Ahi for years but the last iteration they messed up my prescription. The prescription is for reading only (think books only) vs. working (where my computer is about 24-30 inchs away on my desk). I brought that up but was told that I should have shared that during the exam (this wasn't Dr. Ahi as she had done my all prev exams). During the exam I did state that I need this for work & similar to what they had done on my past prescription. Unfortunately, I am going somewhere else even though they are walking distance from my home.

I ordered prescription glasses last October and they were fully paid. It was weird that they never contacted me to pick them up. I sent emails and no response. I called and it always went to voice msgs. No response after I left voice msg. I even went to the shop myself. You know what, the shop was always closed.Update: Dr Ahi contacted me and apologized. She had a surgery during that period. She kindly offered me a free contact lens fitting exam. Now I already got my glassed. Thanks.

It may be harder to reach her now during the pandemic, but if you send her a few reminder emails, she will always get back to you sooner or later. Dr. Westerbeck is a great new asset to the team there. She is so knowledgeable and keeps up to date on the latest research. So many optometrists just try to stick children in eyeglasses right away without offering alternative solutions. Dr.... read full review
