“I have had an excellent experience with, Dr. Constance Ornelas at Superior Foot and Ankle Care Center. The reasons for the excellent rating are:

1. I was able to get a timely appointment
2. The office staff is efficient and friendly (I receive reminder calls for Monday appointments on the weekends from a person)
3. During my first appointment I received the most thorough exam I have received from this the fourth DPM have seen in 20+ years.
4. Clear explanations, answered questions and excellent bedside manner
5. I stated that corn removal medicine, shaving the corn periodically and toe spacers were not alleviating the pain.
6. She stated I had a bone spur on the side of my toe and pointed it out on the x-ray
7. Since the conservative procedures were not effective she checked the circulation in my feet and recommended an Exostectomy to shave the bone spur off, an in-office procedure, which I did on 7/22/24. It seems to be healing on schedule. She stated that if this did not work the next step would be to shave off additional bone which is not an in-office procedure.
8. Currently, I am working on the plantar fasciitis issue in my left foot, the orthotics are not alleviating it. The treatment is Radial Shock Wave Therapy, five treatments once a week. Going in I was aware of a 72% - 80% success rate and it is not covered by insurance.

However, they have yet to bill medicare and my supplemental insurance for the July services that they deserve to be paid for.“

“I have had a mixed experience with my last foot doctor and decided to take the advice of a customer that was discussing the doctor down the street from my work as they ranted and raved about the foot doctor I was lucky enough to grab a canceled appointment . Well I had a great experience from my first interaction. I walked up to check in with receptionist as I was taking care of the payment for the office visit. The gal at the front desk was very helpful and explained the process and how the deductible was taken care of the overage was explained by the front desk person and she continued on to state that they would issue a check if the insurance covers the payment will be reimbursed. I realized at that time that the majority of the doctors staff were and are my customers at the vons grocery store up the street. The physician assistant/ xray technician I also knew as customers. And she was very nice and helpful . NOW the doctor was absolutely incredible she had an amazing soft touch with blinders to stop the patient from seeing needles. She wanted me to compare her injection to the last foot doctor. Well since I flew in the air and this new doctor was so good she gave me two shots and I had no pain while she finished and felt very little pain if any. After looking over the X-rays and the other doctors report Dr Khalwam found d the problem that has been obvious and began treating my pain and then will fix the other problems that I have on my over worked feet. She was amazing and is gonna take the screws out in the next few days I give the dr Khalwam and her amazing staff a 10 out of 10“

“Dr. O Patel and her assist Daniel are very good professionals they listen to the patients concerns and have done an outstanding job on my left 2nd 3rd toes nails. The tech cut out the old nail growing out wrong due to severe trauma of both toe nails. Bith nails grew back, and the next visit, the tech trimmed n filed my toe nails. They also treated my athletes' feet and gave me some medicated cream for my feet. I was told how to correctly care for my feet, change socks daily, n wear shoes every 2 days for proper ventilation. They have bedside manners and are passionate about treating their patients. I rate them 5 stars.“

I was able to arrange an appointment within a week, was seen right at my appointment time, and was assisted with the castings of my feet, considering my own specific needs.
