After an unfortunate incident caused major damage to my rental unit, they stepped in with care, professionalism, and expertise that far exceeded my expectations. They worked directly with my insurance provider, making the process much less stressful for me, and approached the entire project with a thoughtful, personalized touch. Not only did they restore the unit—they made it even better than before. The team was consistently helpful, resourceful, and highly skilled. Their network of specialty trades ensured that every aspect of the repair was handled with precision and quality. I’m especially grateful that they graciously accommodated a few additional repairs that weren’t covered by insurance, helping me make the most of a tough situation. We had a building fire with 8 occupied apartment homes…. DUARTE was there on scene before the fire dept even put the fire out. Ashley, from Duarte, helped me with getting residents situated, speaking with the fire captain, contacting Red Cross, calming me down, etc. Ramon from Duarte was there calling his crew to get ready to board up doors and windows. They took care of everything. It was the biggest relief to have a company know what to do in an emergency situation. They took control and handled it all, so I could concentrate on helping my residents. Ramon is great, he has always been available to answer my questions by phone, e-mail or text, and to communicate with the owners, insurance companies, fire department, city of Rocklin, etc. He provided weekly updates & recaps that were so detailed. My day-to-day communication was with Tom, the project manager and team lead Brian. Tom arrived with his crew on time each and every day. They are very meticulous and want the job done correctly. Tom and Brian were so helpful, patient, professional and personable. Even when we changed our minds on items. They always went above and beyond my expectations. They are a start to finish company. We have our 8 apartment homes back, and rent ready for move in’s. Tom reviewed the work completed at the end of each day to make sure we were on schedule. He has a great work ethic and was so easy to communicate with. He also took time to discuss the upcoming scheduling with me. I truly couldn’t imagine working with anyone else during this catastrophe.
