Dr. Treiu is the only pleasant thing about my experience here. This Vision Center never answers the phone . At all . There was one time I had to go up there in person just to schedule an appointment . I went here for about 5 years and out of all those years I probably got through the phone line twice . Like what are the receptionists doing . I called and pushed 1 just because . Finally got an answer just for the other person on the line say , sorry this is just the appointment line & to re-directed me back to the receptionist line . Still no answer . And still haven’t return my call . Very unprofessional . Glad I don’t go here anymore .
Got a text that my contacts were ready for pick up at 3p.m. yesterday. Checked online for their store business hours and says they close at 5:30 p.m. I work in Torrance, CA and driving from Torrance to Long Beach can be a bit challenging. I leave work at 4:30p.m. to give me sufficient time to get there. I arrive at 5:08 pm. And a sign that reads - close at 5p.m. was posted on the door. I see people in there and I tell them I am here to pick up my contacts. I begged them and told theme they're paid for and they would just need to hand them to me. And they said, sorry were closed - and small hint of pleasure on her face. Total Vision - Get your business hours straight! Online its says 5:30p.m. and on your door it says 6p.m. Which is it!?
My employer referred me to get safety glasses with the Safe Vision program and instructions state to take my current eye prescription which I did and front desk guy said they would not accept outside prescriptions which is odd because the instructions from Safe Vision are to take your own valid prescription. They should just simply remove themselves from the Safe Vision program altogether if they will not help employers/employees.
Since it is a program where they won’t be receiving direct payment from patient, they someone want to get you by forcing you to have an eye exam with them since THAT is out of pocket for the employee.
