We've been using Spencer Wilson for tax preparation for several years and were always impressed by their quick turnaround and prompt communication. Unfortunately, this year's experience was a stark contrast.
Despite submitting my documents well in advance and receiving confirmation of receipt, I heard nothing back. In early April, concerned about the approaching deadline, I contacted them and was informed about a family emergency. They assured me extensions had been filed for everyone, but as we typically owe on our taxes, extensions wouldn't help with payment deadlines. A friend recommend this tax place. Worst experience ever, I had a phone appt. With Spencer, which he never called me. Then I was referred to his assistant, who prepared my taxes. The assistant was not experienced and was not organized, the assistant misplaced my tax paperwork and had to resubmit it. Left several msg to Spencer and never returned my email or call, very unprofessional. Never go back again.
I have been going to Spencer Wilson for some time now, and I have always been very happy with the results. Spencer is personable, knowledgeable, and professional. He is always available by phone or email - responding promptly with clear and concise information. I recommend Wilson Financial Services highly.
