My first experiences at Magella were back in 2019/20 when I was pregnant with my first born. I went in for the NT scan and anatomy scan -- both experiences were positive ones. This year I am back with my current pregnancy. I went in for my NT scan and Brittany (not sure of the actual spelling) was so kind and thorough with the ultrasound. My wait time for that appointment was minimal so I have no complaints whatsoever. I also had a consult with a MFM specialist and my doctor was Dr. Simon who is absolutely wonderful! I have no complaints with any of the techs but I hate how you are not allowed to have your phone open to record. They don't any print out either they are sent to you via email 24hr after your appointment. The videos clips you can watch are boomerang style no longer than 3 seconds. The link expires quickly and it ruins the beauty of memorializing your pregnancy milestones and seeing your baby.

Second time I've been here for an anatomy scan. Front desk nurse was nice. Our genetic counselor Caren was great and very informative. Ultrasound tech who saw us first, I didn't catch her name but she was amazing and made us feel super comfortable. Let us know information during the entire scan while we talked about ours kids in-between. It was a pleasant experience however when the dr came in after her to do the same thing, the mood changed. You could tell he did not want to be there. Hardly spoke a word the entire time. He apologized and said he had other things on his mind. I chalked it up as being the end of a long day.
