I've been having Mills shoe repair resole my 16" whites lineman boots since the late 90's. I have never had a problem and the work is always top of the line along with reasonably pricesdIf this gentleman retires, I' m going to be in trouble.

I’ve taken about 5 pairs of shoes to him over the past year - boots and heels. No frills, pricing is fair, he has a quick turnaround, and I’ve had no issues since his repairs. A couple of pairs were peeling off from the sole when I took them in, and he actually reinforced the shoes better than how they were originally made. I wouldn’t listen to the bad reviews - I think some people are unrealistic in their expectations. I’ve referred friends, and I highly recommend him.

I recently took my work dress shoes - Johnston murphy leather shoes to have them resoled, he did a great job. Dropped off on Thursday afternoon and they were ready the next day. He does have a bit of a problem understanding what you may need so if you go, just make sure you explain and show what you want done and everything should go well. I believe that may be the issue with some of the negative reviews. I stopped one day to ask for a quote and he gave me a really low amount, so I knew he did not understand what I wanted. I came back a second time, with shoes in hand and showed him what I wanted done, then I received a proper quote that made sense. I am happy... read full review
