I love their hair colorists! I had a little mishap happening at a different hair salon and went to Madison Reed to get partial highlights to fix it. She did such an amazing job. Also their products make my hair so smooth.

They charged me for an appointment I did not have. When I called them to fix it, they kept me on hold for over 30 minutes to speak with a representative. No one ever picked up the phone. They basically fleece their customers.

Excellent quality hair color and great customer service.
I had my first experience in a salon in Lynnfield MA. Appointment was at 5:30 - the team literally cleaned around me - vacuuming, mopping etc while I was waiting for the color to set. While I can look past that - the whole thing felt rushed and this morning I put on a white sweater only to have it and my couch pillow ruined by hair color staining / transfer. Iβve never had this happen with any other products in my life and I donβt know if itβs poor product or a rush job shampooing it out. Customer service offered me a $50 credit however Iβll never be using Madison Reed or their products again

Walked in for 10am appointment at the Long Beach salon and it smelled very unpleasantβ a combination of sage and skunk is the best way I can describe it. I was not greeted when I entered, and I could hear two colorists in the back room. I asked another woman waiting for service if the smell bothered her. She said yes it was awful. When the colorist approached me I asked her what that smell was and her answer was they burned incense. I asked if she could air the place out because it was very strong. On a personal note,I donβt think corporate would have approved of that. I did appreciate her explaining the color choices and her opinion. As a member, I hope this doesnβt happen again or I may just cancel my membership. I found it very unprofessional and lowering the bar for this location. Madison Reed sent me an email asking me to give a review Of this location, but it not provide an opportunity for me to write these details, so Iβm writing it here.
