My computer refused to boot this morning. When I dropped it off, I was told that I wasn't likely to hear back until the next day. I got a call later in the afternoon that it was good to go. I have previously been ripped off by computer repair people so I was very happy when I was informed that since it was a simple fix, there was no additional charge. Very much appreciated the honesty.

My husband's laptop (a vintage MacBook Air from like 2014 lol) would no longer charge on its own, so I brought it to this shop. The guys working were friendly, and transparent about their diagnostic and repair turnaround time. Within a day, they determined that the laptop needed a new battery. I paid the (very reasonable) price for the new battery and repair over the phone. Within a week, the laptop was good as new and ready to be picked up. I am very pleased with the quality of work and communication at Long Beach Computer Repair. Additional bonus: there is a really good coffee shop on the same block.

My MacBook's Touch Bar stopped working. I message on Yelp and was provided a quote for replacement. When I got around to getting my computer fixed, I was a little surprised that I was told I needed a diagnostic. That was never mentioned but I suppose it made sense. I paid the fee and left my computer. Once they started working on my laptop, they asked for a password. I told them I created a guest account and inquired as to whether or not they use that. I had to wait 24 hours for a response. I eventually provided the password and was told my computer was ready a few hours later.
